How to "Cut Other-Bookmarked Lines" across multiple files in Workspace

Post by MT_MANC »

..the previous solution of: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/432 ... th-notepad
no longer applicable as "Bookmark" option has been removed from "Search" on Main-Menu ?
Any pointers appreciated as have MANY bookmarks to remove (often) - not feasible to do in each individual file
I'm using TP v.8.17.1 (64 bit) on Win10 - hoping to migrate to v9 soon

That doesn't make sense: you're linking to a question concerning Notepad++, not TextPad.

In TextPad 8 you still have Search > Clear All Bookmarks (Ctrl+Shift+F2). And it may work across all documents you selected in View > Document Selector.

Most kind..oops..well spotted..it was very late !
The Doc Selector method doesn't work unfortunately and I actually need to Cut/Delete the Marked lines across numerous files not Clear the bookmarks. Sadly the Edit-CutOther-BookmarkedLines route also fails where all files are highlighted in the Doc-Selector ! (this was my first instinct) - not sure there actually exists a GUI method to achieve this in TextPad 8 ?!
