white space - line breaks

Hi,

Why are there extra space added - doesn't show in notepad - just started and I don't know what I did to cause the problem.

Shows in View-->Visible Spaces

TextPad 7.6.1

If you are speaking of 'trailing white space'. Space after the end of a line.

Close all instances of TP.
Open one instance.
Go to Configure
Preferences
Document Classes
Default
and check "Strip triling spaces from lines when saving.
