I PAID for my license and I can't find it!

I'm sorry if this sounds hysterical but I've PM'd Helios twice to be emailed my license. Is anyone here?

I CAN'T FIND MY LICENSE and I just installed Windows 7 Pro [64-Bit] and I NEED MY TEXTPAD!

Till you recover your license you could just "evaluate" textpad - i.e. use it without license for that short period of time.

Btw, why do you install windows 7 - it is only about half a year till it runs out of support in January 2020 ...

In response to your OS suggestion Mudguard, it's a HARDWARE issue. Need I say more? And no, I don't want to continue evaluating TextPad; I paid for my license and I want it now.

I was able to track down my PayPal payment. I apparently PM'd Helios with the wrong email address which never helps. I'll email and PM them when I'm done here. All of the PayPal transaction data is there but here are the important bits:

Since a license is only a chunk of text chances are an e-mail was sent to you in 2016, and to me it'd be obvious to search there (searching for the domain textpad.com in the sender's address should help).

Guys . . . I'm beginning to worry. I've PM and emailed Helios multiple times and not heard one word from them. Have I just been ripped off?

Wow. This old friend of mine, Textpad . . . oh man. There's almost no other program I use every single day and it feels like a betrayal.

You guys are Moderators, have you communicated with any human on the Helios payroll recently? Who is running this forum?

Is anyone there?

I'm not a moderator. I rarily have seen the account helios posting since I'm here - his last post was on 2019-05-27, so it's not like he has abandoned this board.

Just like MudGuard wrote already: Textpad is fully functional even without license, and pressing ESC each time the nag window appears is quite easy. So if you "need" the program you have it already and nothing is stopping you from using it.

Aren't you a bit too impatient? Strictly speaking you cannot have been ripped off since you already got your license years ago - but not finding that potential e-mail or any kind of backup from then is primarily your fault, not Helios' one - you're asking for re-sending the already existing license, not for getting one. Be fair.

I have a date & time-stamped PayPal receipt, which I emailed yesterday to admin@textpad.com -- the Merchant email on the receipt.

A receipt for my PayPal license has been submitted as proof.
The forum's Certificate has expired.
And still no one responds?

It looks bad. It looks really bad.

My goodness, calm down. There's a page on the website for recovering lost licence keys. Have you tried that?
