HTML syntax highlighting

Post by margotbean »

In .htm or .html files, why does Textpad turn "é" blue but not "—"?
They both have the same syntax. ?????

One year later, and still no answers? Is there no file I can edit to make these valid html codes highlight in blue?

Syntax highlighting ...

... is done in the syntax definition file which could be edited by yourself (configuration, settings, document class, HTML (if different to your settings choose appropriate file type), Syntax - should be switched on and there is a definition file selected). Alternatively you could check for new syntax files in hte download area of textpad.com
