Latest I could find is for Python 2.6. I'm learning Python so am not yet informed enough to update the existing file. Is anyone working on this?

Not what you asked for, I know, but if you're learning Python you want to be using PyCharm Community Edition. That that has syntax highlighting and a whole lot more.tcebob wrote:Latest I could find is for Python 2.6. I'm learning Python so am not yet informed enough to update the existing file. mroshaw, if you're still watching this. . .
Thanks for the suggestion. I did try PyCharm but settled on Spyder for an ide. But, as an old Textpad user, I'd like to be able to edit with all the facilities available. I'll get by with the Python 2.6 syntax and if I encounter differences I'll update the file.
Cheers and a happy new year,
