upgraded TextPad 6 "Error accessing ...TextPad 5...\TEX

After installing Textpad 6 I moved all my .syn files to the TextPad 6 subdirectory and removed the TextPad 5 subdirectory structure.

Unfortunately now I cannot fix the following error as I don't know what to modify to repair the path. (And there are no paths in this file [text.syn].)

I also tried to re-add the Text Document Class but this fails as it already exists.

The dialog appears as TextPad loads:
TextPad
Error accessing 'C:\Program Files (x86)\TextPad 5\System\TEXT.SYN'
C:\Program Files (x86)\TextPad 5\System\TEXT.SYN contains an incorrect path...

Please advise as to how I can repair this error.

I don't know what 'fixed' the problem but after many occurrences it has stopped.

I discovered that a reference to this file is stored in a TWS file that defines a workspace. I had one TWS file that would raise this error and another that would not. The solution was to duplicate the one that worked and replace the one that failed. I could not see a way to edit the TWS file directly.
