Is it possible to search for page breaks? and what would be the search parameter?

Do you mean a form feed character?
In most fonts a form feed character is displayed as an empty or filled box, or a box with a question mark in it, and if it's at the beginning of a line a broken line is displayed above that line.
If you can find one of them visually you can select it and search for that. Alternatively, you can search for \xC or \f with either Hex or Regular expression selected.
