Following portable wizard, problem registering

Hi:

I ran the portability wizard to put Texpad6 on a thumbdrive. For the most part, I can refer to the folders on the thumbdrive as needed by Textpad; however, I can't seem to correctly reqister the product - I enter my license key, it is accepted, and the next time I open Texpad, I'm told the product is still not registered. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry for taking up people's time - I gave it one more try and simply copied TextPadKey.xml into the local config directory, and my registration now seems to be recognized.
