"Textpad" option in context menu - Win64

Post by jwcane »

Just installed TP in Windows 7 64 bits. Would you please show me how to configure the program so that "Textpad" is included in the list of options when user right-clicks a file. This is usually the default case, but not here.

Click Configure > Preferences. On the General tab, under Put shortcuts to TextPad on, select Context menu.

A lot of people have trouble getting this to work on Windows 7, so don't be surprised if you are among them.

Textpad option in contect menu

Post by ibgadmin »

I have it working on a Win7 machine right now, but can't recall for the life of me how I got it working. Not sure if I got a valid answer from the forum or some other registry setting.. any other solution other than it doesn't work?

I have this option checked but still it does not show when I right click in Windows Explorer.
