Maximum file size

Hi all,

since installing Textpad v6.1, I can't open text file with size 166GB. There is a message that file is to large. Is file size limit reduced from v4.7.3?

Not as far as I know.

Blimey! 166GB of text is quite a lot of text.

Look in TextPad's help under Reference Information | Specifications:
It can handle file sizes up to the largest contiguous chunk of 32-bit virtual memory.

166GB needs 38 bits.

And I thought was Da Bomb when I loaded up a 380 MB file into TP. I yield.
