Long Lines Corrupted
I'm getting a strange problem. I have a long line of JSON as a string variable and Textpad seems to dislike it. Every time I scroll with the horizontal scrollbar the characters in the string get all jumbled up. I've got some screenshots - every one of these was changed ONLY by scrolling right and then back to the left, no other changes were made.

I think I might have a small pointer (if not a clue)...
The JSON was previously formatted and I selected it and removed \n but not \t. The problem seems to be in displaying the tabs when they are included in quotes in a long line. Using the arrow keys to move left and right sends the cursor jumping all over the place.
