Hi Again Professional TextPad Badasses.
I've got this great tool working that executes a batch file, creates a LOG file, and ultimately sends FindStr output back to TextPad. The only thing I'm finding that I'd like to change is the behavior where the document in focus becomes the Tool Output window. I know I've seen the search results window behave differently in different installations of TextPad and I wondered if I can affect the Tool Output similarly.
Is there a way to have the tool output visibile (either static or popup) and my original document visible at the same time?
Or even better, have the MS command terminal pop up temporarily to execute the script and show results? Obviously, the results wouldn't be linked and clickable, but I find that I rarely need to go the exact spot in the LOG file anyway.
I hope this is clear. I'm using licensed TextPad version 5.4.2.
