Hi,
When using Textpad, it is often over a samba connection to a Unix box. I therefore need to login to samba through Windows explorer before I have access to these files. If I save my open files in a workspace on the Desktop and then subsequently open the workspace before logging onto samba, Textpad removes all the files from the workspace and saves it (so I cannot recover the workspace). Obviously when there are a lot of files in the workspace this can be pretty annoying.
Secondly, I have the "Allow multiple instances to run" option turned off. This works great especially when opting multiple files at the same time, but sometimes I really want a second instance of Textpad to run to work on something else in parallel. Some way of forcing a second instance to start would be fantastic (this did seem to be possible in an older version - 4.5 I think).
Lastly, I have seen many users request an enhancement for outlining (folding). I think this bould be a fantastic enhancement (collapsing between curly braces would be a good start)
Many thanks

Re: Workspace and multiple instances enhancements
It doesn't save the workspace immediately. To preserve it in its original state, close it explicitly:grazzah wrote:If I ... open the workspace before logging onto samba, Textpad removes all the files from the workspace and saves it
File | Workspace | Close
When it says "Do you want to save changes to the workspace?", say No.
