Larger number of recent files on File menu

In Configure -> Preferences -> File you can set the number of recent files on the File menu. I use this feature all the time, however, it is limited to a maximum of 16. I edit many files per day and can't always remember a recently edited file or even where that file was located. This feature makes it easy to find recent files.

I would prefer this maximum to be somewhere around 40.

I agree...

40 or even 50 would be great.

Also the same for Workspaces.

And as has been previously mentioned, a manageable list of "Favorite" files and Workspaces would also be a great feature.
