br instead of a p

When I bring MS Word copy into TP, the paragraphs are separated by breaks <br> instead of paragraph tags which means I have to insert paragraph tags when I copy to Dreamweaver. What am I doing wrong.

What are you doing wrong? You are using MS Word when you want to have HTML ...

Sometimes when clients send copy, you have no choice. Is there a work around of any kind?
