next and previous cursor position (forward and back)

Is there a Back to previous cursor positions, and forward command?

No, you have to use bookmarks if you want to save a cursor position. Look in the Search menu to see the bookmark commands.

This is very painful for me. I edit large log files and have to go 'back' and forward to where i was often.
Even searching and editing code I do this all the time.

All I can say is that this is painful and most everything about Textpad is great. But due to this I am constantly looking for a replacement.

Having to bookmark every location where I might want to 'Back' to is not viable, since I use bookmarks to save important locations, not navigate Forward and Back.
