Unable to select "Block Select Mode"

Hi,

I am unable to select the "Block Select Mode". It is inactive for me, even when I open a TXT file or click the sequence - Ctrl+Q,B.

I have just installed/upgraded to the TextPad 5.3.1 version.

Please inform if there is a known issue with this or I need to do something else? The same was working for me properly in the 4.1 series.

De-select word-wrap

Select Block Mode

AFAIR block select mode also depends on the font - it does not work with proportional fonts.

In fact, it does work with proportional fonts. It doesn't make any sense, but it works.
