This may seem like an odd question but I have a personal license registered to me that use on a work computer for an employer that I will be leaving soon. The computer is staying. Short of uninstalling Textpad, since it is shareware, is it possible to remove just the license and leave the software for the next user that might want to try and then register.
Thanks.

Talleyrand, why do you say it's not shareware? It seems to fit the description of shareware that I'm familiar with. And Helios have included in the help file topics on "Definition of Shareware" and "Association of Shareware Professionals". Anyway, to answer the original question, yes just uninstall it. Why make life complicated?

In preparation for leaving, I have been uninstalling things from my two machines that are either mine or not necessarily needed for the next employee. I decided to remove it now and since I might still want to use it over the next two weeks, I removed it, cleaned registry and made sure install directory was gone, rebooted, then installed.
Still has my registration details in the help splash screen.
I guess I will just have to remember to remove in the last day or two when I will probably be busy with HR and exit interviews and who knows what else.
Thanks.
