Hi,
I have two tools defined, say Foo and Bar. I have the Tools toolbar displayed, so I have 16 "hammers" on my toolbars.
Currently Foo is bound to Hammer 1, and Bar is bound to Hammer 2.
Is there a way to specify which toolbar icon ("hammer number") to which each tool is bound?
Reason: depending on which files I'm editing (local or network drive) determines which tool I should execute. I'm often clicking the wrong one because they're too close together.
I can specify keyboard binding, but what about toolbar binding?
Thanks,
Scott
Can I bind a tool to a specific toolbar icon?

Scott,
you can do what you ask and more.
Right click on the toolbar and select customise.
Select Customise - > Commands -> tools and drag the icon to where you want on the tool bar.
Right click on the icon you have dragged and you can edit the icon graphically and text wise.
You can call one Foo, the other Boo, and customise it to just show the text.
