Creating workspaces with Textpad 5.3.1 crashes

Create several documents with TextPad 3.5.1 and select File/Workspaces/Save As. Name your grouped session and then close all the documents. Now choose File/Workspace/Open to select the newly created workspace file session.

It forces a crash and TextPad 3.5.1 closes after leaving message about creating a temp dump.

Okay moderators...anyone care to confirm this? If anyone can confirm this...please issue a fix to 3.5.1 ASAP on this as it's impossible to work on multiple files with this error.

If you really mean TextPad 3.5.1, I doubt anyone has the means to confirm it. Version 3.5.1 is many years old. Did you mean the current version, 5.3.1?

Oh..my apologies. Yeah...it's 5.3.1 that crashed. I need new perscription eye glasses.

I just tried this on my setup with no issues.

My system is WinXP Service Pack 2.

Okay...Just did a new test. I opened up two blank documents and then saved the workspace with a name. Now I closed Textpad and reopened Textpad. When I selected the workspace I saved...it opens up - BUT...instead of opening up two blank documents I saved - it gives me two pages named "Search Results" and "Tool Output".

Something is telling me this isn't normal.
