ALT-TAB goes to Find Window - NOT "Stay on Top" Is

Post by Ron Smith »

Long time user, use TextPad on several machines ...

On all machines except one, ALT-TAB goes to the next application, which is the behaviour I most often prefer.

On one, ALT-TAB goes to the Find or Find-in-Files window, if it is open.

Keystroke Compatibility is set to Microsoft Applications (if that matters).
I'm running v 5.2.0 (if that matters).

Thanks
Ron

On that one machine, do you have "Stay on top of other windows" activated in Configure - Preferences - View?

Has ALT-Tab been used in Configure - Preferences - Keyboard on that machine?

The only way I could figure to check that was to Configure:Preferences:Keyboard:Categories=All:List and this is all I found ... no Alt+Tab.
ActivateClipLib Alt+0
EditClearAll Alt+Delete
EditUndo Alt+Backspace Ctrl+Z
LineScrollDown Alt+Up
LineScrollUp Alt+Down
ToolExplorer Alt+F3
ViewEnd Alt+End
ViewProperties Alt+Enter
ViewStart Alt+Home

No one seems to have any thoughts on this. I'm wondering if some junk is left over in the Registry. I'll search around for info on that.
