Scrolling Region Settings

Post by ralphowens »

In a previous life, I had an editor that allowed you to set the line (both top and bottom) when the text would start to scroll. EG: I set mine to 5. So when I was 5 lines from the bottom, the screen would scroll. This allowed one to always see the context while editing.

I'd like to have this capability again!!

I was just editing a file where I was constantly at the bottom and needed the context. It reminded me of how much I miss this feature!!

Perhaps it could be settable by doc-type, or perhaps generically.
