Textpad 4.1 crashing after setting Windows option

I have an account with limited access to the Windows Registry.

Textpad works fine with more generous access, but seems to be crashing due to the permission limits. I'd be grateful to know exactly which parts of the registry Textpad needs access to, and it'd be useful to know how much access it needs.


Currently, the user account has a fair amount of access to
HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\SOFTWARE, and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
but it seems I'm missing something.
