child windows off the screen

Hi,

I am using multiple monitors and have changed my screen configuration. Now some of my child windows such as "search results" are off the screen. I can't get them back on because the top bar, which you would usually use to move the window, is off the screen and can't be clicked on. I have tried alt + space but that brings up the menu for the main textpad window.

What should I do.

Can you change that monitor to a higher resolution so you can see the window, then drag it closer to 0,0 and set resolution back to normal again?

Did you try Alt+Hyphen? That opens the system menu for the child window.

Thanks for that. Yup, I ended up changing the monitor configuration so I could get hold of the window and move it.

Just tried the Alt+Hyphen ( = Alt+minus_sign (?)) in case there are any more child screens that don't want to behave. It didn't seem to work though.
