According to this this thread, WildEdit supports non-greedy regular expressions, but TextPad does not.
This is the only thing I ever have to open up another text editor to do.
Would love to see support for the ? in the next TP release.

Lack of non-greedy RE and Slashdot poll
crb is not the only one eager for non-greedy RE. Slashdot has put out a poll on a favorite text editor. Although TextPad was not listed, there was a lot of people who sang praises for TextPad. It would have been louder if not for the lack of non-greedy RE in TextPad. With this in mind, it would be a good thing if you could port WildEdit's RE engine to TextPad in your next release.
