Newbe Q: Can TextPad replace scientific notation?

Post by wiseroilguy »

I was wondering if there is someone out there that could tell me if there is a way to find and replace numbers expresed in scientific notation, to a "normal" number? An example is shown below. The entire file(s) are too large for Excel. Thanks much.

The only way I could find to do this on a text file was using Visual Basic. Sorry.
Running TextPad 5.4 on Windows XP SP3 and on OS X 10.7 under VMWare or Crossover.

You could try writing an Excel Macro.
(2[Bb]|[^2].|.[^Bb])

That is the question.
