URLs don't show up?

I installed 4.7.3 and 5.2.0 on my work PC but for some reason on this PC neither is able to show a URL in a different color from the standard text in a text file, any ideas?

I doubt this is a Textpad problem or setting, I've tried changing the URL colors in both, exiting Textpad opening Textpad & the URLs are still not colored differently.

Yes, I'm using a full http line URL, these URLs (in a text file on a jump drive) show up colored on my home PC just fine.

Please try the following procedure:

Click on:

1. Configure
2. Preferences
3. Plus sign next to Document Classes
4. Plus sign next to "Text"
5. Syntax
6. Check the "Enable syntax highlighting" box.
7. Under the heading "Syntax definition file" Select
"text.syn".
8. Click Apply / OK

That was what I missed! Now the color(s) I selected in the Config / Preferences / Text / Colors / URL work!
