I've used a licensed copy of TextPad for many years.
The Find In Files command has stopped working on my WinXP machine at work.
Now TextPad 5.2.0 gives an error message of "Not enough memory for that operation" whenever I try to use Find In Files command. The error either happens as soon as I click "Search," or after about 1 second of searching.
Find In Files has worked for months on this machine, but now it won't work at all, even on a folder with one small file.
I don't expect a solution, but does anybody have any ideas on how to fix or debug this?

Error: "Not enough memory for that operation"
I have gotten this error many times over the years in both the registered and unregistered versions.
The problem is that the file it hits is in Unicode. If there is no need for the file to be in unicode, load that file it crashed on into TextPad and do a SaveAs changing the Encoding to ANSI or something. Then run your search again.
They need to fix this.
