Use text pad to enhance an Ascii file

In my job a produce tables for a Mark Research Company.
Does anyone can tell me how can i add control characters like font size 6 , or bold on some lines

use open office writer, microsoft word or some other word processor instead of a text editor.


Or write your files as html files ...
