wrong cursor position

Post by mgunduz »

Hi TextPad users,

I just begin to use TextPad 5.1.0,

I have a strange problem:

when I begin to write, the cursor start to leave from the end of the line,
so, after a while the cursor do not show the correct place (i.e the position
I am writing the text is different than the cursor position).

Is there any one encountered such problem before?
Thank you very much for your help.

Try the latest version first, 5.2.0.

Hi,

I have updated my TextPad to 5.2.0
but again I have the same problem.

The cursor position is not at the end of the my writing line.

I found a sample latex file in the internet, the same is true for that file.

When I tried to delete a word from that file, it was not deleting the word
just left of the cursor, instead it deleted word 5 space left from the cursor.

Do you have any solution for that?
Does it related with somehow my windows settings?

Murat.

Also, when I click the left mouse button to insert some text,
cursor is not going there, instead somewhere 4-5 space right of selected position?

Do you have mouse problems with any other text software - like Notepad for example.

If so, you may need to reinstall your Mouse driver.

Hi Alan,
Thank you very much for your reply.
the mouse works very well with other text software.

I think I have changed some configuration of TextPad,
but dis not found any configuration settings related with cursor.
