How to change window background foreground color?

Post by ira212 »

Hello,

I'd like to change my Window Background foreground color, and it's disabled. I'm following these steps:

1) Configure Menu -> Preference
2) In the left pane, click the + sign on Document Classes
3) In the left pane, click the + sign on Default
4) In the left pane, click Colors
5) In the right pane, click the Window Background item.

Note that the Foreground button is greyed out. The foreground color is grey, which doesn't stand out very well against my black background.

I tried searching the forums using a variety of searches, including:
window AND background AND foreground AND color

without any success. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me how to get white text by default!

Additional notes:
- I'm certain that highlighting is working in general, because when I type http://, it highlights to a blue color.
- I've tried changing the Windows foreground color for other document classes, and it's equally disabled.

Thanks,
Ira

The window _background_ has no foreground color.

Change the color for "text" entry.
