Why doesn't TextPad 5.0.3 open a 1,188,247 KB text-file?

(The message says "Disk full while accessing" the file).

What's the latest on this known problem? I can't believe this isn't fixed by now. I just downloaded the latest version. "Search the forum" is not an acceptable answer. I can't tell you how many hits you get when you search on the 'Disk Full' phrase.

That thread is the latest status. I agree it should have been fixed by now, but unfortunately it's not.

Did i tell anyone to search the forum? As far as i can see i gave gcotterl a link so he didn't have to search for the answer. I know you get more then one hit when searching this forum like when searching any forum .....i still find them pretty easy to use even if i have to spend a couple of minutes to find what i'm looking for.
