Problem with Opening Multiple Files
I just installed TextPad 5.03, and I am having a problem now opening multiple files. If I choose multiple files from within TextPad directly, there is no problem. However, when I double-click from Explorer on a single file, it will open, but successive attempts to open another file using a double-click will not work until TextPad is closed. This is also true if I mark multiple files, right-mouse, and choose Open. Only the first marked file is opened. I did not have this trouble at all in the 4.x version. What could be causing this?

I had this problem too. I went into "preferences/general" and checked "allow multiple files on the command line" and now it works.
Also, check out "Put shortcuts to Textpad on" on same page. I was missing a few of those too.
The problem I am trying to figure is how do I view more than one document at once. e.g. "new vertical tab group" in other editors. If I can't do this, it is a big problem. This was not a problem in 4.x.

Viewing Multiple Files
In TP5, you can no longer tile vertically or horizontally if you are displaying document tabs. If you turn off the "Document Tabs" option, the tile options will be available under the Window menu option.
I added the "Document Tabs" button to my personalized toolbar to make this option easier, but this is definitely something that was made harder to use in this release.
