I've used TextPad for years, but have recently lost the ability to Search-Replace. Under XP, latest TextPad version, when I try to replace (any file type) using Ctrl-H or the Replace icon TextPad loses the Windows focus but nothing else appears to have the focus.
No dialog box. Find works as expected. Happens on two computers. Likely the problem is between keyboard & chair but I don't know how to solve it. Any suggestions?

Wow, so stupid. Problem solved, by me, with so little work it's embarrassing.
My Windows desktop is somehow larger than my screen (bought a large monitor, don't know why there is non-visible area to the right but it's Windows, you know? Maximized windows don't extend off to the right, but the cursor disappears there and now.....)
The popup window for Replace was in the invisible portion of my video workspace. I saw a piece of the Find-In-Files dialog box and that reminded me of this stupid issue. Using Alt-Space, M (move), and the left cursor key I pulled the wayward window back into the visible portion of the desktop.
Sorry for the useless post.
