TEXTPAD AND PALM PDB EBOOK COMPILER

Post by kitimat »

I need to convert several text files into Palm ebook (pdb) format.
I want to use textpad as the editor but I have not yet found a palm "compiler" that will work as a tool in textpad.

Has anybody else already figured out how to do this yet?

many thanks

kitimat,

You can open your text files in TextPad, copy and paste them into Mike Pickering's DocReader on your PC, and then save them as .pdb files. I suppose you could install DocReader as a tool in TextPad. It is easy and the program is free. DocReader is a Windows application, not a Palm application, to read and create Doc files on your PC which you can then sync into your Palm and read them there (or you can read them in DocReader on your PC).

All the information you need, including screenshots and a link to a download, can be found here:
