What's the point of saving the contents of the Tool Output (and Search Results) pane in the .ws Workspace file if it's not loaded into that pane when the Workspace is loaded? The Tool Output pane is open when the Workspace is opened -- just missing all its contents, even though they are clearly in the .ws file. This strikes me as a bug (or a massive waste of file space if you have large results). (Running v5.0.3.)
Also, maybe it would be good if closing the Search Results and Tool Output panes didn't clear their contents, so you could pop them out the way and then pop them back if you want to consult them further. At present, this gives you a blank pane (maybe related to the above problem?).
