Changing the intensity of highlighted grey color?

Post by insitus »

I do use search/find a lot. During search, those found target words are very gently highlighted. With my new LCD monitor, it takes forever to locate the highlighted/found words. because highlighted color is too thin. Is there anyway to increase the intensity of the highlighted grey color? James

While looking old threads, I found a similar post. The answer was:

"Look in the help file for the topic "How to Customize Colors" and then you can change the colour for the item "Selected text (no focus)"".

When I tried, it did not work. I tried all kinds of color comibinations.
It seems that this funciton was disabled in v. 5.03.

It definitely works in 5.0.3 - I just tested it again.

Did you change the colors for the appropriate document class in which your file lives?

I am not that computer-savvy. Could you please tell me what document class is? That could be my problem. Regards, james
