5.0.3, w/o hacking the registry.
I have a .log file (named iso19115_proceso.log) created in C:\Program Files\IME_V4_0\ - it's not read-only, but it is temporary I think - it only appears when I'm running an application. It's a text file, lines ending Unix-wise.
I can open this with Notepad on Windows XP, by the way.
With Textpad 5.x, if I Right-Click - Open with > Textpad, TP5 wants to create a folder C:\Program ( )
If I dismiss the messagebox (I'm not game to say YES), TP5 wants to create the fully-pathed file itself - even more scary.
So, I say NO, and use Notepad.
Is this a known problem?
Right-Click - Open with > Textpad wants to create a folde
