block select program wide?

I've been using textpad five for quite a bit now, and I'm loving block select mode, but....

2 minor inconveniences...

1. having to switch wordwrap off manually before block select becomes available... it would be a lot nicer if block select would just switch off wordwrap, and in case wordwrap was on when block select was selected, switch it back on when disengaged.

2. Wordwrap and block select settings and such are per document. To me it would improve my workflow if it was just a setting for the entire program (all documents).

I agree that this should be a global setting. Is there any way to setup a auto run macro that runs each time a file is loaded?
