In this post of mine of some time ago I stated that some of my replacement macros didn't work as planned, and that I didn't know "why".

But believe it or not, something even weirder happened to me.
Did you know that macros "work better if they're "re-recorded""?
I didn't, up to now.

Well, the fact is that if I follow these steps, my macro works 100% (although with an annoying behaviour):
1) I click on Record new macro
2) I play my old, not working, macro
3) Annoying behavior: the macro runs, but every time it DOES NOT find something it's looking for, a prompt appears, telling me that it hasn't found a certaing string.
4) I press Enter, and I keep it pressed, thus automatically "accepting" all the times the macro doesn't find something.
5) The macro ends, and it works 100%, till the very last step recorded!
6) The only annoying thing is that by keeping Enter pressed, I have to remove the additional newlines I accidentally enter after the Macro "ends"
Now, is some Textpad expert among you able to understand what's going on here? Can this be explained?
