I lost my macros when converting to v5.0.
Now when attempting to re-record my macros I notice the macro works fine while recording but when playing it back nothing happens.
as an example I'm doing a search for ^ + ( there is a space between ^ and +) and replace with nothing to remove leading spaces on selected text. The macro works fine while doing it manually, it works fine while recording the macro, it just does nothing when playing back the recorded macro. No error messages.
I'm hoping I've forgotten something basic.
