Program crash when associating file type

When I tried to associate a specific file type with TextPad 5, the program crashes.
In my case this was because this file type was associated with TextPad 4 before I upgraded to v5.
When I removed the file type (in windows folder options), restarted TextPad5 and tried again, it went well. No crash.
