Is there a way to have textpad check every difference in text between two open documents?
I have a problem with my forum and I need to determine code differences in two templates.

Yes. under the tools menu select compare files.
The compare file function in textpad is pretty basic. All you get is a list of the differences if there are any . It'll work ok for a match / no match.
If you need to compare and merge then are more powerful tool will be required. I'm currently playing with a program called winmerge that does just that. good luck!
