Context Menu Settings

Hi,

I created a Template in the registry in the HKEY_USERS/.DEFAULT for the context menu setting in the textpad from the HKEY_CURRENTUSER. i created a registry file to create this template and executed thru my wrapper script for textpad after execution of Textpad 4.7 version.

The default template for all users is created when a user logs in for the first this should be created in the HKEY_CURRENTUSER by default as it is in the HKEY_USERS/.DEFAULT.

Except for the ContextMenu Setting in the Textpad for all other preference settings it works, context menu is not working.

can any one advice me on this

Can't say much without seeing what's inside the registry template you created. At least for the Explorer context menu, some changes to the registry are made *outside* the HKCU\Software\Helios key.

Try regmon to see what's happening while you check or uncheck a setting from TextPad and press "Apply", it can be downloaded here: http://www.sysinternals.com (Tip: set regmon's include filter to "textpad")
