Horizontal Ruler
When I have to look at a plain text fixed-length interface file, it would be helpful to have a horizontal ruler at the top of the screen to verify field alignments.

I have the following in my clip library:
--------------------------------------------
The spacing may not look correct on the forum, but the top row numbers are on top of the zeros on the second line to represent 10,10,30, etc.
That can be pasted at the top of a document for reference.
But if you need to scroll down, that won't work, but you can put that into another document that is tiled above the document window that you are working in.
Not a fix, but a temp tool that might be helpful to you.
Code: Select all
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345
