Hello,
i tested several editors and and TextPad was the best, but what i am missing is to jump to the end of a line very easily.
With the Crimson Editor i can jump to the of a line with [alt] + arrow right and selecting the whole line (from courser position) is as easily too with [shift] + [alt] + arrow right.
The Crimson Editor has another good feature for programming. It was very easy to find the corresponding brackets, because the editor marks the corresponding bracket if i position the courser at a bracket so i do not have to press a keycombination.

No enhancement needed for this.
I get to the end of a line be pressing "end" key
I can highlight the entire line by:
1. pressing shift-end, or
2. double clicking at beginning of the line.
If these keys did not work now, I could still assing keys to do these functions with Configure/Preferences/Keyboard/Assign new shortcut key.
Go to Configure/Preferences/Keyboard/ Under Categories, select All. Click on List and you will get a listing of all the current hotkeys, which can be modified or added to.
See Help/Keyboard/How o customize the keyboard
