Visible Spaces - Preferences - On - by default - How to?

Post by idliiyer »

I am just starting to use TextPad. I tried the search option in the forum and could not find the answer that I am looking for.

I want TextPad always show "Visible Spaces" whenever I open any file. I tried the Preferences -> View -> Visible Alerts (Eveything is Checked). However TextPad does not show visible spaces automatically when a file is opened.

Could someone tell me how to switch on "Visible Spaces" by default?

Thanks.

Some settings will only be retained if no documents are open.

1. Make sure only one copy of TextPad is running.
2. Close ALL documents.
3. Set to show visible spaces. (Form Main Menu Bar: View/Visible Spaces checked)
4. Close TextPad.
5. Open TextPad, and you should be all set.
Hope this was helpful.............good luck,
Bob
