I'm trying to get the SDK commands to work from within Textpad...and I know my problem is that I ran textpad before I installed the SDK. I installed this operating system today...but I had already had Textpad installed on the hard drive. So when I ran textpad it did whatever it does on first startup.
Now people have told me to uninstall Textpad and reinstall it and the commands should show up...however I can't uninstall it, because it was never installed on this OS in the first place. I tried installing it, but it still does not have the SDK commands where it should in either the menu or in Tools. Is there some registry value I can delete to get it to show the SDK commands?
Interesting problem - SDK Tools

If TP came preinstalled with your OS you still should be able to uninstall it via Control Panels Add or Remove Programs function.
You could also take a look at Configure->Preferences->Tools, click Add and select "Java SDK Commands". See TP's help file under "How to Customize the Tools Menu". HTH
