Don't remove unavailable files from recent file list

I work on remote files constantly. If a network share is not available, as in after a reboot, trying to open file from the recent file list tells me it's not found (which is true) but then removes that file from the list.

Please leave it in, aging and rolling it like any other file.

I could see that feature being added as an option under Preferences. The default would be "Retain unavailable files in recent files list" or something. Makes sense. I deal with that all the time as well.
