Hi,
I've used textpad for some years now. I've often made use of the 'Window Split' function to do a horizontal split (one frame on top of the other) to view different parts of the same file in seperate frames. Each frame had it's own scroll bar for moving within the file.
I now have two monitors so thought it would be great to change to doing a vertical split of the screen when needed, so as to have one part of the file in the left monitor, and a different part of the file on the right monitor.
However, when I do this I only get one scroll bar at the right hand side!
How can I get a seperate scroll bar for the left hand frame? - so I can move around independently of what is showing in the right hand frame.
Is it just a configuration issue, or is the vertical split just a bit broken?

Textpad - vertical split of page only gives ONE scroll bar?

I see what you mean. I was hoping it was not intended. It is definitely a functional oversight for frames that are side by side.
With side by side frames - only one horizontal scroll bar was not an issue as code normally fitted the window and I was able to go to seperate pieces of code for viewing/editing very easily.
But now with wide screens or dual screens becoming so common I think the vertical splits need there own scroll bars..... guess I'll go find that page for suggesting new features.
